Hello! I’m Jon Hammer. I’ve been working as a professional software engineer in industry since 2018. I’m currently a Staff Software Engineer for Sam’s Club. Before that, I completed a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, AR, USA.
I’m interested in a wide range of topics, including enterprise software development, systems engineering, machine learning, mobile systems, context-awareness, computer graphics, optimization, and many more. I typically work in Go, Python, C++, Java, and C#, although I have experience with several other languages as well. This website will allow me to showcase interesting projects I’ve worked on and present helpful advice I’ve gained through my time as a developer.
